The Bird Flu Radar is closely integrated with EFSAs Migration Mapping Tool which shows the distribution and movements of different bird species in Europe. Based on the data on distributions and movements shown in the Migration Mapping Tool combined with data on recoveries and ringing of birds, the Bird Flu Radar can identify risk areas with high concentrations of potentially infected birds.
