WESTLAND, Mich. - A 53-year-old man riding a motorcycle was killed in a tragic accident on Beck Road, turning north from Cherry Hill on Tuesday afternoon.

According to preliminary investigations, the man lost control of his motorcycle, leading to the fatal crash.

In recent weeks, several other motorcycle accidents have occurred in Michigan, resulting in serious injuries or fatalities. Police reports indicate that a 22-year-old Holland man was killed after losing control of his motorcycle on Ottawa Beach Road while traveling at a high speed.

A 36-year-old Dearborn Heights motorcyclist was found unresponsive on the Lodge Freeway near Wyoming Avenue and pronounced dead at the scene.
